The Around The World Delphia Project was realised in 2011 and 2012. During its course,
Capt. Tomasz Cichocki took it upon himself to sail around the world using an unmodified Delphia 40.3. The lone voyage lasted 312 days and made Capt. Cichocki the 16th Pole to sail around the world solo under the whiteandred banner.
Prestart: Sopot Pier, Poland – 14th May, 2011.
Starting point: Brest, France – early July 2011.
Finish line: Brest, France – 7th May 2012.
The voyage was submitted to the World Sailing Speed Record Council in the category of monohull,
nonstop, solo attempts to sail aroundtheworld.
